Thoughts on Time
This moment has passed forever,
Every second is worth more than a 100 carat diamond,
This day will never come again,
Every day is worth more than a bag full of 100 carat diamonds.
How will I spend time?
Every second is worth more than a 100 carat diamond,
This day will never come again,
Every day is worth more than a bag full of 100 carat diamonds.
How will I spend time?
Thoughts on Buddha
The Buddha chooses to be invisible.
The Buddha chooses not to become a walking dictionary for others.
The Buddha is not in the lecture business.
The Buddha knows there is no end to information and commentary, glory and honors.
The Buddha is hidden in plain sight.
When the Buddha is hungry, he eats.
When the Buddha is tired, he sleeps.

Thoughts on Anxiety
Consider the following statement:
“This statement is false.”
This statement behaves in a peculiar way.
If it is false, it is true.
If it is true, it is false.
The meaning of this sentence is oscillating.
What is this sentence trying to say?
This statement does not trust itself.
This sentence is suffering from anxiety.
Anxiety is the condition we suffer from when we fundamentally distrust ourselves.
When we distrust ourselves, how can we trust this distrust of ourselves?

Thoughts on Anger
When my mind is taken over by the 5 senses,
Leads to attachment,
Leads to desire,
Leads to no control,
Leads to no peace,
Leads to no happiness,
Leads to anger,
Leads to disgrace.
Leads to attachment,
Leads to desire,
Leads to no control,
Leads to no peace,
Leads to no happiness,
Leads to anger,
Leads to disgrace.
Thoughts on Zen
I work without concern for the results,
My mind is yoga,
I achieve state of no pain,
I am Zen.
My desires non-existent,
Untroubled by sorrow,
Free from pleasure,
No fear,
No rage,
Spirit content,
I am Zen.
I do not rejoice good,
I do not condemn bad,
Flowers bloom and die, no need to praise blooming flowers or condemn dying flowers,
I gladly accept what happens, knowing these events come and go and is not myself, though events happen to me.
I am Zen.
I stop 5 sense desires,
I stop mind desires,
Outer abstinence,
Inner renunciation,
Peaceful spirit,
I am Zen.
I do not allow 5 senses to carry away my mind,
I do not allow 5 senses to distract my mind,
I do not allow 5 senses to cloud my mind,
I bring 5 senses under control of the mind,
5 senses and mind in yoga,
I am Zen.
My mind is yoga,
I achieve state of no pain,
I am Zen.

Thoughts on Work
I work without concern for the results.
I own the right to act,
but not the right to the rewards of my action.
Rewards of action is never my motive.
I am never lazy even when rewards of action is never my motive.
I welcome success and failure equally.
I am composed.
I am never angry, proud or ambitious.
There is no good or bad. Good and bad are the same thing.
I am content. Having it easy is always better than having too much.
My mind is equally balanced.
My mind is Zen.
When I work without concern for the results,
And when my mind is Zen,
I achieve state of no pain.
I own the right to act,

Thoughts on Living
I am not afraid to die,
Therefore,
I am not afraid to live.
Therefore,
I am not afraid to live.
Thoughts on Death
Never did I not exist,
Never will I cease to be.
My spirit passes through this body in youth and age,
I am merely taking on another body of many infinite bodies over millennium.
Cold and warmth, pleasure and pain, up and down;
I learn to endure, these certainly come in pairs;
These come and go and do not last forever.
I welcome success and failure equally.
I gladly accept what happens, knowing these events come and go and is not myself, though events happen to me.
I remain the same in pleasure and pain, making myself fit for eternal life.
No coming-to-be for non-existent,
No ceasing-to-be for existent.
All that there is, is indestructible.
No one can bring destruction.
There is no kill or be killed.
I was never born, so I will never die,
I never came-to-be, never ceased-to-be.
I am not killed when my body is killed.
If I know that all is indestructible and eternal, how can I kill or be killed?
Like I change clothes, I change bodies throughout millennium.
I do not grieve for the living or the dead.
The spirit in the body can never be killed,
There is no need to grieve.
Never will I cease to be.
